Our commercial staff is comprised of experienced project managers, former installation personnel, knowledgeable office support staff and next generation individuals who are passionate and dedicated to our philosophy, rules of engagement and mission. As a team we constantly strive to educate ourselves to keep up with the latest designs and technology ensuring cutting edge products and craftsmanship are delivered to you. Each and every staff member shares an immense pride and satisfaction from the beginning of every project through completion.
My career in the flooring industry began in 1971. I have traveled throughout the country expanding my knowledge and expertise until settling in Maine. In 1999 I joined Capozza Tile Co., in their commercial division as an installer and by 2005 had worked my way up to Field Operations Supervisor. My knowledge and years of experience, combined with a dedication to our clients are the tools that allow me to oversee the installation process and ensure completion with the highest level of professionalism. In the field I supervise the installation crews, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, coordinate with the Project Managers and clients to ensure completion of project within the timeframe agreed to, and make certain that the crews are properly trained and equipped for all tasks. I have been happily married for twenty seven years and have two children, one of which has followed in my footsteps and works on the Capozza Commercial Division Installation Crew. I enjoy the outdoors and working on various projects in my spare time in my workshop.
The Warehouse is the hub of operations for all three of the Capozza Tile Co. divisions. Product and materials for every job is handled by our dedicated warehouse division’s staff. I joined the Capozza team in August of 2010. My history in wholesale, attention to detail, organization, and multitasking made me the perfect fit for this operation. Our experienced team coordinates the commercial installation crews at 6:00 in the morning and quickly transition into receiving and customer relations throughout the remainder of the day. As a warehouse team, we strive for excellence. We are dedicated to customer service through attention to detail, respecting all individuals, teamwork, follow through, and having a little fun.
I began working with Capozza in 2009 and joined our Commercial Team in 2012. Over the years I’ve held many positions: Warehouse Assistant, Purchasing Agent, Project Assistant, Project Manager and currently Director of Operations. I hold a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. My responsibilities include the management of our installation schedule, pre-construction planning, development of process improvements, client relations, staff management and expense control. My goals are 1) to ensure that our division is operating efficiently, 2) that the expectations of our customers are routinely met and exceeded and 3) that Capozza grows as an industry leader in commercial flooring. When free time finds me I prefer to spend it skiing, golfing and enjoying Maine with my wife Emily and dog Parker.
